    Webmaster

I am a senior at Langley High School. I enjoy spending time with friends, photographing the outdoors, and wrestling for Langley High School. I saw smaller parks neglected and overrun with trash and invasive species, and I knew something needed to change. In working with BioThrive, I strive to revitalize our parks and create a sustainable environment for our community.

  • Chase Donelly

    Treasurer

Hi! I’m Chase Donnelly, and I enjoy playing soccer, meeting new people, and spending time with my friends and family. Seeing trash piled up during hikes, the algae-covered lake, and the barren, eroded trails, I felt like the environment was getting neglected. I want to be able to initiate change and inspire others to follow my example.

  • Ray Zhang

Growing up in Iowa, my interest in the envrionment originates from my visit to Effigy Mounds National Monument. Here, I realized that nature is where I find my peace. With BioThrive, I want to restore the balance between human activity and nature by promoting sustainable practices and protecting local ecosystems.

  • Zelmay Jan

I have a passion for biology. I competed in the USA Biology Olympiad and was one of the captains of my school’s Science Olympiad Team. Stemming from my love for biology, I hold a special place in my heart for conservation and hope to research sustainable agricultural procedures when I grow up. When I am not surveying plants, I can be found playing basketball or annoying my brother with yet another tuba piece.

  • Rachel Ku

I also like picking up trash and doing research on the climate! I care about the climate because climate change is rampant and devastating to a lot of people. It is important that we join together in the fight against climate change!

  • Jayden Lee

Jayden Lee is a senior at Langley High School. His passion for the environment stems from his belief in transcendentalism: by connecting with nature, we tap into something greater than ourselves. When he's not spending time with his other half, find Jayden reading, fluting, debating, running (almost never), appreciating friendship, spending time with family, and relearning the importance of getting outdoors.
